Configuration¶
Both the TinyIDS server and client can be configured using configuration files.
Configuration File Location¶
A path to a configuration file may be given to either tinyidsd or tinyids by using the --config command line switch. If this switch is not used, the configuration file is searched at some default locations.
The TinyIDS server (tinyidsd) searches for its configuration file at the following locations in order:
/etc/tinyids/tinyidsd.conf
The TinyIDS client (tinyids) searches for its configuration file at the following locations in order:
/etc/tinyids/tinyids.conf
